What would our all time best LSU NFL team look like and how would it compare to other colleges all time best teams. Not sure anyone other than maybe Bama or the Canes would come close to being better.

I think all-time basketball would stack up against anybody.

QB
Burrow and Daniels

RB
Faulk
Fournette
Addai

WR
Jefferson
Chase
Nabers
Reed

TE
Moreau
Taylor**. (No reason to think he won’t at least be serviceable in NFL)

OL
Mawae
Faneca
Andolesk
Pocic
Collins

DL
Hunter
Brockers
Dorsey
Williams
Spears
Lavalais
Montgomery

LB
White
Queen
Minter
James

Highsmith
Jones

CB
Peterson
Webster
White
Claiborne

Safety
Honey Badger
Landry
Reid
Adams

Kicker
York

Punter
Wing

Returner
Green
Holliday

***Had more starters than needed at d lineman and linebackers because it would depend on what defense you chose to run as to who would best fit the starting spots.

TE. Remove those two. Replace with Billy Truax and David LaFleur.

New guys gonna fill my all 22 except prudhomme

Qb - Burrow
Rb- Fournetter
Wrs- Reed ,Chase, Jefferson
Te -Taylor
Oline - Cambell,Mawae, Faneca, big herm,prudhomme

Dline-dorsey,spears, lavalais, booger
Lb- white ,James
Star- Bagder
Db- peterson, Webster,
Safety- landry,adams

We would fare pretty well but would get out talented by teams like USC,Miami and Bama imo. Everyone else we could hold out own.

Our starting 5 can stack up with any one. Outside of those, teams like UCLA,NC and Duke prolly have us.

Tommy Casanova would definitely be one of the safeties.

There are many criteria to this and it’s all speculative, but the picks seem to have a lot of recency bias. There are Tigers from the fifties and sixties and seventies who had solid and sturdy NFL careers that deserve consideration.

Billy Cannon
Billy Truax
Tommy Casanova
Bert Jones
Fred Miller
Dennis Gaubatz
Steve Van Buren
YA Tittle
Johnny Robinson

Left a lot of the older names off.

Dalton Hillard comes to mind at RB as does Wendell Davis at WR

You already included David LaFleur at TE, but he would be on the short list
