Schumer and Biden......now that is a poor excuse of human beings....

Didn't Biden just veto a bipartisan bill creating 66 new new judicial positions too??
I can't wait for the left salty tears if the wise Latina gets replaced by Trump.

Murkowski and Collins are functionally democrats based on their voting record.

What oversight do they have over the judiciary?
particularly lifetime appointments

OMB has budgetary authority over DOJ…an in turn over the judiciary’s ability to hire staff, etc.

Federal judges can be impeached
the bench can be moved or split

Freaking Murkowski and Collins.
Collins I sort of get, old school R living in freaking Maine, but someone from Alaska? FFS.

Exactly. So what is the point of having them around?

The lifetime appointments that fill them(District Courts / Circuit Courts) rely on budgets provided to them by the OOC which can be zeroed out to zilch by OMB - ran by a Trump appointee.

Only if Congress goes along with that budget scheme. Line-item vetoes are unconstitutional on the federal level. Clinton v. City of New York.

I don;t think that's accurate,, I would pleased if you could provide evidence of that being true
I ask because I know several of the district judges and some of the bankruptcy court judges and the cases are kind of divided up as they come in to deny budgets to one bench and allow them to another
I don't see how that can be done
Hopefully you know something about this subject and could provide the information on how that would be done
i'd be very happy if we could deny the Biden appointments made in this late rush
because obviously they're done in a kind of court stacking way it's very disingenuous and we objected to FDR stacking the courts and this seems motivated by these same type of politics which the courts are supposed to be above that

Is there a time stamp I should look for in particular?

It’s a good listen in totality as Vought explains how to cut off funds to agencies that are rogue, etc.
