Since it’s legal in LA now where do I navigate on the rant to find locks? Why doesn’t Chicken have a dedicated sub forum for this?

No such thing as a lock… just pick a Good charity if you want to give money away.

There’s no locks. You’re betting on a game biased by refs umpires whatever. You’re on the side of fix or your le not. But 9/10 it’s situational betting. Team A plays team B after a situation occurred. Doesn’t matter who the players were? It’s how public and bettors perceive a team when outcome is opposite. And you’ll still lose on locks situations etc.

Don't kill the messenger...
Looks like Congress will be looking into how to curb gambling, and the NCAA President has come out asking for help.

Betting on sports is a losing proposition.
They don't invest in a thousand web sites and build casino's / sports books so you can come take their money.
But "you" could be that one genius who has it all figured out.
It does make the games more interesting though, glad it's blocked in Texas because my pea brain loves betting.

I can load 100$ and make it last a few months sometimes depending on my patience. I will usually recoup my deposit but eventually it all goes back. I only really do it at the beginning of CFB before the lines get too sharp. Or if I’m extremely bored and it will make me interested in watching some meaningless games. It really is a losing hobby if you want to call it that… I don’t really enjoy to lose money and feel bad about myself at the same time for making that losing bet

Ill be in NO next week but am unfamiliar with sports books. If I place a futures bet and it later wins, can I mail in a ticket or do I have to redeem in person? I live in a non gambling state if that maters

It's being pushed really hard there though right? Phone apps, Adelsons buying the Mavs, etc. Think it'll get passed through eventually?
I have an uncle like you. Goes to Vegas, and will take a few hours drive across a border somewhere for a wknd or overnight get away, but wants absolutely nothing to do with it anywhere near him.

Only for losers like you lol
I make money year round on mlb and nhl using pro systems. Educate yourself and don’t make stupid generalized statements. It proves you don’t know shite.
Now if you wanted to argue casino games will cost you long term I’d agree. Sports gambling has no house advantage like casino games. You can make money either way. Not so with casino games. If you win at casino games take the money and run. The longer you play the house will get you eventually unless you are a top .1% pro player.
Sports gambling is sustainable if you know what you are doing.

It's called arbitrage. There are websites that will help you find the inequalities in the lines. But you also have to be careful in how you do it. And you will eventually get limited once the figure out what you're doing.
