Wife wants to go somewhere in the mountains but can’t ski because she’s 5 months pregnant. Found affordable flights and lodging in Canmore for the 3rd week in January.

Saw the snow festival will be going on as well as a wolf dog sanctuary. Waiting to hear back on a dog sledding experience if they take pregnant ladies.

Any non skiing recommendations or hidden gems we need to look into?

When your wife wants to go to the mountains, she really wants to go. Banff?
On my bucket list, but summertime.

Banff in January? No skiing? Just want to be cold?

I would go to Scotland, London, Montana, Big Sur, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or even Barcelona over Banff, just to name a few.

Lake Louise will be frozen over. Beautiful hotel there - Fairmont.

Snow sculptures. Views.

There’s a day right there for you.

Ride the gondola. I’m assuming it runs in winter, but I don’t know.

Visit the grounds of the Fairmont Banff Springs.
