I'm booked at Hampton Inn in Athens, but it's full now. Most, if not all, in Athens probably are at this point.

You might want to stay in Atlanta or one of the suburbs on the way to Athens. Rooms in Athens are like getting rooms at Auburn; not that many hotels. It's about an hour's drive, maybe a little more from Atlanta to Athens.

Stay in Atlanta. Athens has limited hotel rooms and restaurants. It's only about an hour drive to Athens.

Most hotels are booked so far in advance, it's almost impossible to get a room. Check around Lawrenceville, and Duluth. There are a few decent places there, and you have about a 30-45 ride to Athens. Most visiting teams stay at the Marriott at Gwinnett Place.

Try the Ritz-Carlton at Reynolds Plantation. Not the one in Atlanta, but the one on Lake Oconee. It's not as far away as Atlanta and you won't have to deal with the trafic.

I am ready for it to get here! I had great time on my first trip to BR for the game this past season!

Just keep in mind that the Highway from Atlanta to Athens has about 20 red lights which makes game day traffic horrible, so plan around this traffic. That Ritz-Carlton in Greensboro is not a bad idea because it allows you an alternate route to Athens, involving a lot less traffic.
