Did I just hear that he will be a FA after this season? Imo he would be a good power back to puck up to compliment reggie

Yes, I much so agree.
We need someone like him(alot like the old deuce) to team up with reggie, it will be great for both of their games.

It amazes me that 85% of the posts are about how to "fix" the offense.

you are a dumbass if you dont think that we need a power back. i can count 3 games this year that we are a 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 away from winning. but, with no power back we are stuck running reverses and pitches to try and get 1 yard

I would love a backfield with Ward, PT, and Bush.
This would be very solid indeed...but honestly, we need to focus our FA priorities elsewhere before signing someone like Ward.

If Ward is better than PT its not by much..Ward runs behind the best offensive line in the NFL

Brandon Jacobs will also be a UFA. He wuld be a better pick-up because he is bigger and stronger than anyone on the roster now. This would leave us with Bush, Thomas, Jacobs (Scat, tweener, heavy). Good pick-up, but not highest priority.
