I have. Its not bad. Its a South Africa/Argentina menu. I had the chicken espetada, it was good. Theyre wine list is decent. They try a little hard on the ambiance but overall not bad.

I live close to it and it's on my list to try. It's pricey though and my girlfriend isn't very adventurous with food. I don't want to spend $150 for a meal that she says was "ok" and that's how it would end up.

If you end up giving it a shot, please come back and give us your review,

Ate there before. Got one of the goat curries. It was good. There was 5 of us in the party and we all enjoyed our meals.

Unfortunately, this is my view of most restaurants in Katy. We have a lot of "good" restaurants but none that really knock it out of the park.

We’re pretty big fans of:

Phat Eatery
Pearl & Vine
DaVinci’s

We don’t venture out to Katy often for meals, but when we do, it’s pretty much always one of those three.

Yes - those are all "good" but not exceptional.

I've been there a couple of times in the last few years. The owner, Kasey, is a really nice guy (never met the wife.) I remember he saw a kid at brunch that wasn't eating his food, and he went to the table to make him happy, and he announced, "I will make you whatever you want, I am your chef!"

I would say try the brunch first before you do dinner. The service has been spotty at best the last few times I went in 2023 for dinner, but it seemed like it was just happening to me.

I don't know, man. Maybe Houston itself just doesn't have anything "exceptional", because the bone-in NY Strip at Pearl & Vine is better than any steak I've eaten inside the loop. And I've eaten at a bunch of the "best" steak places in Houston.

Also the same place that took a friend's plate that came with the wrong *main* and side, they scraped off the wrong side and piled the right side on top of the main and returned it. Again, with the wrong main still.

The look of confusion on that guy's face as I started laughing was great, but that's not what should happen at a "fancy" restaurant.
