Question about coaching money and NIL money

Is the money for coach salaries and player salaries in the same pool? Or are they separate from one another?

Why don't some of you take 10 minutes to really read, and at least attempt, to understand how NIL works?
You are going to get 20 responses here, and 18 of them will be false.

This is where I come for my advice on finance, politics, religion, and sports. I highly value the wise council of people such as: StripeyMcBitey, PounceKing88, RoarinRalph, FeralFelinesRule, WhiskerWizard, and JungleProwler9

In all seriousness, those funds come from different sources.
Coaches salaries come out of the state education fund. NIL salaries come out of the individual fan’s children’s education savings.

You are a complete and udder idiot. Everything you said is completely false because you are incapable of simple reasoning and understanding. There is absolutely no way that you are paid to think.
To answer the OP: There is some overlap. The coach is paid through public university funds, revenue generated by the athletic program, and donations such as TAF. Players are paid through merchandise sales, Bayou collective (soon to overlap with TAF), and private donations.

You opened up the gates brother. Several months ago I had people telling me that coach’s buyouts and salaries weren’t paid by private donations… they just don’t listen

250k comes from states funds for coaches salary the rest is paid for by TAF

Can you point me to where I said this?
TAF pays a large portion of coaches. TAF pays most of the facility upgrades. Only recently did the LSU collective (Bayou Traditions) move under the umbrella of TAF. They aren't technically the same, but now they are connected.
That still doesn't allow you to give a real/detailed answer to the OP though. 100% of players NIL doesn't come from Bayou Traditions. They can have deals in place with whichever outside companies they please.
Which is why I said:
1- most of the information the OP gets here will be wrong, because people have no clue what they are talking about in regards to how NIL works (hell they don't know what they are talking about when it comes to much of anything)
2- the OP should spend time actually educating himself from a more credible place than the Tiger Rant.

Is this a serious question?

Well you responded to the guy who was calling me out saying everything I said was false, to agree with him.

Yeah I was letting him know that people are going to try to argue with him because he said that donors pay for a portion of coaches salaries and buyouts. I know because I've had people on here tell me how dumb I was to even suggest that.
