Whats the point in recruiting when 90 percent of the class doesn't even make it to year 3

Keys showed promise, but I’m not sure why Atkins would leave with Weeks gone after next season.
Causey was an odd take, as was Johnson. Brown just didn’t pan out.

I get CBK changing the portal approach this year. Retention is damned in CFB. Disappointed about Atkins the most, could’ve developed into a solid player here.

Tbh the 25 lb class is absolutely elite. Between that and keys passing him it was gonna be an uphill climb for him to see PT

some of the freshman may have been asked to go. We need spots. Atkins is different as he played, but the other 2 were never going to play here and would be passed by the incoming freshman.

Freshman not even giving it a chance. It's tough to crack the lineup as a Freshman. More experienced, physically stronger players in front of you. By year 2, you should be finding out if you can cut it because you've sat there, learned and got stronger.

Singleton and Keys passed Atkins up that’s why he’s leaving. Plus the weeks brothers were already ahead of him too so he’s currently LB5

I don’t disagree. Just would like to see guys just try to develop. Like give it 2 years.
