Anyone heard recent news about his plans? It would be nice to have another big body to give some minutes against physical teams like Fl St.

Is he considered a "big body" in basketball?

It never works out. Between school and football practice and conditioning the demands are too great. He would be a misfit not having been going through drills with the team.

Chris Carrier and Marcus Spears tried it. By the time he gets in basketball condition the season will be over. Then he'll have to try to get in football condition for spring practice.

I would say he is. He is not going to be a straight up center. He is listed at 6-7 245. That’s a big body. Compare to Jalen Red at 6-10 240. That’s significantly more mass per inch.

Yeah- it’s always tough. But let’s see what happens. There is an exception to every pattern. Maybe he’s the exception. The numbers say he probably isn’t but it would be nice if he was.

I think it helped that Trey'Dez was moved to WR, since he didn't need to keep bulking up for TE. If he had kept bulking up, I think it would've made it more challenging to play basketball too. It also helps that LSU isn't in the playoffs. We'll probably have a bowl in late DEC, so he will be available in January. I hope he'll already be in condition for basketball by the time we start SEC play on 4 JAN.
