Why is the US involved with the Syrian civil war again? On ISIS side no less? What's the national interest?

I hope not. Waste of my tax dollars. And for what?

The CIA has created a NARCO state. Syria is the largest producer and distributer of Captagon.

I believe we are taking out ISIS who is currently backed by Turkey. The US is on the Syrian Defense Forces side who is essentially ISIS-light. The reason the US is involved is to protect the Chevron oil fields that we stole from Syria.

Dude, that's the CIA's war. Created by the Obama administration under Hillary Clinton. Trump stomped them out immediately last time, but our Generals didn't follow orders and end that shite. So here we go again.

No we are directly supporting ISIS in Syria against Assad, and we orchestrated this whole dustup timed right before Trump can pull us out altogether. One last hail mary to regime change Assad and install another puppet leader in another country bordering Russia. Why, I wonder?
Ask yourself why these Arabs decided to flare up the civil war in Syria just when Israel is having a tough time in their war? Arabs just suddenly decided to fight other arabs and divide that community instead of uniting against Israel? Things don't get any more obvious than this. ISIS is our creation and we direct it to this day.

Does a unit in Belle Chasse even have A-10s?

We just can't help ourselves. It is what we do.
Just wait, we'll find a way to get involved in the South Korean political crisis.

Will someone please teach the Syrians how to properly hold their phone to video?

The US is supporting SDF, not ISIS.
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)[a] is a Kurdish-led[12][104][105] self-proclaimed coalition of U.S.-backed ethnic militias and rebel groups, and serves as the official military wing of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).[106][107][108] The SDF is allied to and supplied by the United States–led CJTF–OIR international alliance
Opponents of the SDF include various Islamist, Syrian nationalist, and pro-Turkish forces involved in the civil war. Major enemies include al-Qaeda affiliates, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the Syrian National Army (TFSA), the Turkish Armed Forces, and their allies. The SDF has focused primarily on the ISIL,[115] successfully driving them from important strategic areas, such as Al-Hawl, Shaddadi, Tishrin Dam, Manbij, al-Tabqah, Tabqa Dam, Baath Dam, and ISIL's former capital of Raqqa.[116][117][118][119][120][121] In March 2019, the SDF announced the total territorial defeat of ISIL in Syria, with the SDF taking control of the last stronghold in Baghuz.[122]
Since the territorial defeat of ISIL, the SDF has increasingly been involved in combatting the SNA and Turkish presence in northern Syria.[123]

Meddling in the middle east.
Using munitions so the MIC can resupply for profit.

Can't believe the Kurds trust us at all. We've fricked them over many times in the past with promises that we didn't keep.

Definitely did at one time. I spent time at the NAS down there during my time in the military. I used to see them out on the flight line.
