Ryan perriloux
without him being a thug we would never have gotten Shep, maybe even Loston
so RP I thank you for threatening those people with guns. and getting kicked off the team.

well if that wouldn't have happened we might have had a chance at the NC this year and we wouldn't have needed shep..plus JJ would have redshirted.

Pretty sure Sheppard was on LSU before RP got the boot. Thanks for bringing him up again, though.

I think RS was ok with the possibility of RP being a senior (or NFL bound) for his freshman year. I dont think RP was in the equation for getting Shep to LSU.

Mack Brown for not offering RS as a QB.

What's the deal with Hasan anyway?
A 5'11"/200lb. RB running a sub 4.4 would get more offers I would think. I know he committed to Minn., but it doesn't look like the big boys really offered him. Nebraska and A&M appear to be the biggest offers he had.

ya'll are all wrong...His GF who has been at LSU since 2007. If it wasn't for her, he'd probably be at Texas A&M with Loston.

Pretty sure there was an article that quoted Shep as saying that Lipscomb was the one that put him on to LSU.

Yeah, since he was here prior to RP getting the boot, and Mac offered him at QB (fact, i dont care who has heard otherwise), I would say it is a combination of his GF and Hassan Lipscomb

Grades are the only issue that I've heard.
I was really looking forward to him being a part of this class. I thought that it would be him, Ford, and Pratt.

But let's be fair to Perriloux. He wasn't a "thug." He had problems and ego and was into sabotage of his own success. But I don't think he was a "thug."

Hasan was the guy that got RS interested in even taking a visit. Yes, his girlfriend is an LSU girl but he wasn't really all that interested in even an unofficial from what I remember. Once he visited it was all over from there.

I think if Texas would have shown genuine interest in him playing QB he would have been a longhorn
