Our lease to the east of gueydan off 14 zerod Friday and Saturday morning after Thanksgiving. Afternoons for whatever seem to better but still limited opportunities

Reports from the guys that hunted said more geese but still not as many as normal. About the same number of ducks (not many)

Hunted Avoyelles Parish ag land Saturday and had new geese, both specks and snows, streaming in from the north all morning so things should pick up on the speck hunting in Gueydan soon.

Hunted a guided trip in Gueydan/Lake Arthur area Friday after Thanksgiving. We killed 1 duck. Worst guided hunt I've ever been on (not blaming the guide). They claimed they had been killing them up until this latest front. They also said they are switching gears for geese now that they are showing up.
