He’s a Beta…John Cooper 2.0. All flash and no substance. Sure, he’ll win 10 games a year and make the playoffs…but you won’t win a thing with him as Hc. Bring Urban Back!!!!

The fringe extremists of that fanbase are crazy. It’s worse than the fans that wanted Les gone after 2008.

It IS fricked up that OSU lost to Michigan. It was the most baffling game and stupid gameplan I've ever seen. I don't know about realistically getting him fired, but that performance deserved the response it elicited. Obviously I am thrilled that things worked out. I think the defense needed the Oregon game as a wake up call about playing too soft and rushing the passer and the offense needed the Michigan game to wake up about trusting the passing game more. Without either of those OSU probably doesn't win a title.

Those 2 sentences sum it up perfectly.

Anyone that seriously thinks Day didn’t deserve to have his job on the line after the Michigan game is wild to me. He deserved every ounce of criticism that came his way.

But he went and proved me and large portion of the fanbase wrong since then. I’m happy as hell to be completely wrong about it.

He finally had the roster to score from third and didn’t get in the way for once?

Hahaha I have been on the Day Train since DAY ONE and never jumped off.

Game results are important but how he carries himself and the way his players love him are more important for the entirety of the program long term than reacting over an admittedly bad loss
