CBK grades for 3 years.

Say what you want but
Woodward got him at a time where the football overall operations were at a huge low with several problems floating around. Kelly came in and cleaned it all up. Say what you will but LSU needed alot of house keeping. So I'll give him an A on this.
Offensively LSU has played well enough to win most all of our games. B+.
Here is where we are terrible. The LSU defense has never showed up to Baton Rouge. That's 1000% on CBK. Think about it, if we actually had a legit D, last year and this year we'd be in the hunt for a title. I dont care what you wanna say to water it down but our defense is bad in year 3. CBK gets an F.
Special teams needs to be better especially with our fg kicker. What grade?

1 game? Bro, you don't even understand.
With an actual defense we beat atm/usc and florida. Last yr we go into the playoff with 1 loss also if we actually had a defense.

Overall so far give him a B, he has won a west title when saban was there , he played in sec championship game, he beat saban , he had a Heisman trophy winner and #1 offense .
However he messed up with defensive coordinator hire, recruiting coordinator , and position coaches but has shown a propensity to address issues he did not get initially correct .
His mistake is he said wait until year 3 and in this era of transfer portal and transfers there is no such thing as building a 3 year roster as it’s now a year by year basis for rosters.

It's tough to give a good grade to a guy that has somehow gotten worse each year here.
That's what's crazy about people still bitching about what O left him. He somehow won the West with O's shite show. But loses 4 games (currently) when he gets his own guys and culture in there.

Year 1 Over achieved A- with 2 Bad losses TX Am And Tenn Blowout. Ga was a superior Team, Very Bad Special Team
Year 2 C+ Wasted an incredible Offense, No Show Defense, Bad Special Teams Again, Bad Opener
Year 3 C- Bad Opener, Shitty 3 Game Losing streak that exposed his lax/hands off approach to Day to Day Game planning/Coaching. No in game changes, Shitty Special Team Punting/FG Kicking, Terrible RZ Offense, OL Regressed, way to many False Starts, Lack of Player Development for Top rated recruits....
So 3 Year over all a B- @ Best that's being generous.
Year 4 will be a rebuilding OL, WRs etc

Our FG kicker is pretty good…one bad game. Our punter is inexcusably horrible and a huge weakness for this team.

This whole board talked about how Les and O did it in their 3rd year.
Not to mention everyone thought Kelly was a far superior coach than both and for sure thought we'd be back to elite by year 3.

Definitely don’t need a pro kicker in college, but with the leg talent that Louisiana produces we should have 55+ yard field goal range.
Have been to camps in LA where the #1 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 kickers in the country all kicked together. That is pretty unreal. Georgia cherry picks the 23 and 26 while we play fiddle sticks.

Gets his own guys??? If that statement was true his “own guys” would be sophomores. Where the hell do you people come up with this shite?? On top of that it’s so Kelly’s fault his d line coach developed cancer and blew up recruiting on the defensive side for a year. So “his own” guys would be freshman. Please look at reality and not just what your office buddies who couldn’t name LSUs starting RG, yet have opinions of the team meanwhile you just repeat it.
