Is Trump the only politician that understands US power on the world stage

It seems 99.999% of politicians think the US' power is because of our military. However, Trump, basically since the 80s has understood that our real power is our consumer economy. We are the straw the stirs the drink in the global economic market and we have massive leverage to drive change because of this. For decades US politicians would threaten military or sanctions to sway global policy decisions.... Trump understands that increasing tariffs or losing access to US markets is far more damaging to most countries, than anything our military could do.
AND the other countries know this too. They can talk shite all they want, but they know a trade war with the USA is a losing battle and its much better to address whatever policy concerns there may be.

He’s the only one that wants to use it for good of country instead of good for self.
The filth in charge use it to enrich themselves without care of what decisions do to “we the people”.

An underappreciated point.

We are better in every single facet of life.
I have said multiple times without us the world doesnt eat, drink or have fuel.
If China wants a war, lets war. We will starve you then cut your electricity while telling our people you just cyber attacked us as the cause.
Its nasty what the US can do to cripple nations.

I appreciate your point, but I would suggest you are confusing the idea of understanding with willingness. Of course, effectually it is a meaningless distinction I suppose. I just don't necessarily attribute the unwillingness of others to ignorance.

This. Too many in D.C. are willing to sacrifice U.S. interests for their own pocketbooks and egos. Trump wants to stop it. They want to stop Trump.

It is the ultimate form of narcissism. Even more than a serial killer. If millions die to meet their wants, so be it. They will put a Bundy or Keyes to shame in body count.

I don’t give two shits about the world stage. And I do mean stage because these are just actors performing. The United States are the bad guys in the world. We has met the enemy and they is US

Previous politicians understood it, but they were embarrassed by it.

The dems understand the US's power and they hate it. They want all countries to he equal and all people to equal. A global communist government would be fine with them.
