I wish we got to vote on keeping our open primaries instead of the just the Governor and legislators deciding to junk them

Anyone know how much Murkowski spent to make sure ranked choice stays?

It’s the only way she can stay in the Senate.

If you look at the voting map up here, most of the support to keep it came from the villages. Having been to several of the villages in Western Alaska and Northern Alaska they are a pretty monolithic group. They vote the way they are told. It was hard enough to get a simple answer to a work question out of them without having to get approval from a council.

I don't know about her, but the pro-ranked choice side heavily outspent the anti-ranked choice side.

But this definitely makes it a lot harder to get Murkowski out of her seat.
