Looking for more information on this venue. It looks superb and was wondering if it lives up to what I see. They have had and have some great shows there and I would love to make to the Violent Femmes on March 26th.

Getting there looks pretty straight forward. How many does the venue hold? I see they offer camping. How are the hotels around there? Is it difficult to drive in and then out after the show? Anything else to know would be great.

Thanks.

I’ve only been to one show there as I live in Nashville, but GET THERE EARLY. Traffic in and out is bad and parking is not easy if you wait. It holds about 650-800 people or so. And no matter the time of year-bring a fleece. It’s always the same temperature in there. I don’t know about hotels, but I doubt any are too nearby. Good luck, man.

I live about 30 minutes from the Caverns and have been to many shows. Drivin’ & Cryin’, Sierra Ferrell, Umphrey’s McGee, Greensky Bluegrass, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, Twiddle. Seats about 800 and 1200 for standing room only. Caverns is 19 miles from the Manchester O’Charley’s which is at I-24 exit 114. Hotels in Manchester, Tullahoma and Murfreesboro. Easy to get back to I-24 from the venue. My friends are bartenders at O’Charley’s in Manchester. Good place to grab a bite and a drink before the show.

We went last year to see X and stayed in a cabin on the road in front of the venue. Drove about 1 minute to the parking lot. Great venue and had a blast at the show.

Saw Railroad Earth there a couple of years ago, and it definitely lives up to the hype. Very cool venue.
