[T]he Underwood camp has pushed back against the idea of a flip and reaffirmed their commitment to LSU. Taking it one step further, we now know an enrollment date for Underwood, who will be officially heading to Baton Rouge on December 9th according to a source.
Underwood will be eligible to practice with LSU for their bowl prep, but will not be allowed to play in the game.

A good QB that can take off and move the chains with his feet at any time can make a huge difference for any team. JD5 wasn't near what he became in his first year at LSU, but we beat Bama and won the SEC West with a team not picked to do squat in the SEC in part due to that. Without Daniels that year, LSU would have struggled to have a winning record.
Although Underwood is more known for his poise, arm, and accuracy, he averaged something crazy like over 15 yards per carry when he did take off and run this year. That's huge. Nuss virtually being zero threat to run has been a huge handicap to the offense this season (he's handicapping his own game too).

Does anyone think one player will be the difference ? We are about 18 quality starters short of being a contender in reality .

A versatile QB who doesn't turn the ball over much vs. having a one-dimensional QB who constantly turns it over makes a huge difference for any team. So yes, it could make a huge difference.
But yeah, we need to play much better D than we have since the 2nd half of the aTm game to contend for anything regardless of the QB.

No doubt a good qb would help . But we need about 9 people on defense and are losing most of our O line and aren’t loaded at any position group .

It's not just Bryce.
It's the #1 CB in the country flanked by another five-star CB.
It's the #1 RB in the country.
It's the #1 class, Ralphie. It's the #1 class.

Nice to see some good news. Been a rough patch lately.

You are correct, of course, but I do think he is the lynchpin to holding the 25 recrutiing class together, and that is really the only hope we have going forward. If that class falls apart, we are in trouble for 7 more years minimum.

That’s not crawfishing **** , I said a qb would help but we need a lot of other players . Reading is your friend dipshit . You are obviously one of the cocksuckers who think the class of 25’ will have us champs in 28’! Yay , 4 years of losing in the meantime .

He probably thinking he can come in and start even if Nuss stays. Might not be wrong either.

Definitely a big deal. He could completely change the direction of the program.
