I'm not a Christian and never will be but I do wonder about these commercials.

What is their ultimate motive do you think?

I always like a good dichotomy - Jesus condemns the sin but forgives the sinner ... He's a lover. Not a condemner but he can also condemn because He's the Son of God. I find that fascinating. Don't agree with it all but I also don't disagree with it.

Still, I wonder about this group and an ulterior motive they might have. What do you think?

Anyways, I believe Christianity is a great thing no matter what. While I go to church on occasion, I'm not a pillar of the Church but I do think of myself as a buttress holding it up.

There is an ulterior motive.

They’ve outright lied about scripture to back a political angle in at least one of the ads.

So, you are a Satan worshiper. We all have a master. If Jesus isn't your Master than Satan is even though you may not think that is the case. In the end there are no fence sitters. Jesus or Satan? Heaven or Hell?

They aren’t Christians. They are leftists using Jesus to try and influence real Christians. They are typical evil shitlibs.

I grew up Roman Catholic and so I do approach life as a cultural Catholic. I have great respect however for Evangelicals as well. But as far as the saving thing goes, that's where I respectfully disagree with many Christians today. I don't see where anyone person needs "saving" but I do know many people who feel they have been "saved" and in that regard, I do not doubt their sincerity and I respect them.

Anyways, I am curious to know what actual professing sincere Christians think of this Jesus: He gets us thing.

That and I think to soften Christians on any kind of cultural liberal idea.

Yep and I don't think there is any kind of evidence of Jesus being a complete social liberal. He didn't even express hatred of the Romans and they were the biggest authoritarians around. He didn't hate anything it seemed except sin. Moral corruption if you will.

Fair question. I don't see where any person has something or state or whatever that they need to be saved from.

But, to be honest with you, I can only speak from my own experiences. I make lots of mistakes probably on an hourly basis but I don't think any of that needs to either be punished by some supposed hellfire or save from it.

I do however respect anyone who feels differently.

They are communists. And they confuse the kingdom of heaven with the church. They are 2 different ages. We won’t live in peace until in the hereafter

The first century church shared a lot. They were led by the spirit, but they weren’t communists. They owned personal property.

I think this movement is pushing communism by misinterpreting scripture.
