I think its sort of a worst case scenario. He could do a lot of damage if they move at the pace they have been moving. And whoever Trump would nominate next would still be a good nominee no ?

Once that 3oo days is up, Trump could then do the recess appointment. That's gets 3 years????

More to the point - the FVRA will not work with people not a first assistant to the post seekng to be filled, or to someone in a position tht has been Senate confirmed.
