In recent memory, our best quarterbacks (Jayden, Joe, Mett) weren't particularly outstanding in their first years starting but had big glow ups on their 2nd pass through the SEC.

I think the NFL is going to eat him alive in his current form. He's barely functional under pressure and he tries to force too many balls into small windows that turn into picks.

He could benefit from another year of development. However he's going to be losing 4 three year starters on the O-line. Imagine Chester or Mubenga starting at every position. Hard to expect he's going to take a step forward with a far worse offensive line.

No he should capitalize on being overrated in a weak draft because there’s a really good chance he loses his job to underwood if he stays.

He will. His family wants him to - with his dad being a coach in the league he knows his son can’t come out this year.

It’s a very weak QB draft this year so he’s probably looking at a 2nd round grade so he may go.

Any other year, and yeah he definitely would need to come back.

Nuss is in no way ready to play in the NFL. I’m not convinced that he is NFL material.

The NFL isn’t an option at this time.

The Qb stock this upcoming draft is weak as someone else mentioned. So, he can go higher for that reason. However, he needs a ton of work to turn into a functional QB. He doesn’t have the timing on the deep ball, he scrambles in the wrong direction to escape pressure, his pocket presence is not there.

I would not if I was he.

Go somewhere else or the NFL. This place has made it clear what fans think of him.

He doesn't have much playing experience, isn't physically imposing, has very limited mobility, and his numbers against top competition are pedestrian. He's probably a 3rd day pick if he comes out.

He should return to college ball, but not here. He's Max Johnson at this point.

Like most have mentioned the quarterback class is weak this year. Mel Kiper has him as the 4th qb. So Nuss is looking at at least late first early second

Nuss, should stay and compete for the job. Just because a kid is a 5 star doesnt mean that will transfer to college. If Underwood is the second coming of JD, Nuss can transfer to get the reps he needs for his final year of eligibility by fall camp

If we can keep him, I’d rather see what Underwood can do.

If he truly is the 5th Qb on the board he has to go. He isn’t going to improve on that

Only going to continue playing his way out of an NFL career at this point. Probably needs to opt out after next 2 games and pray we some how win.
