If we lose Miller too

Hopefully we can take both those guys NIL and throw everything we have at Solomon Thomas. Curne will compete to start day 1 at G or RT, Thomas could also start at Guard day 1

I hope we hold onto Miller. We need at least 4-5 OL in each class.

Curious if echols takes over center and we move Chester to guard where he's probably more natural. Younger bordelin coming in will be center role right? And can still cross train Chester

Said this a few other places, but yeah I think Echols becomes the starting C next year. Chester is better suited as a G, but let him compete with guys like Curne, Miller, and if we can reel him in, Solomon Thomas.

Yeah Mubenga shouldn’t see the field. Chester has a chance to be a good G, but he’s totally overwhelmed by having to call the protections. Just put him in position and let him lean on guys and he’ll be fine.

Mubenga is the guy thats been giving up the sacks. Things havent been the same since Dellinger's been out of the line up.

Yup… he looks totally unprepared. Him and Chester next to each other is just a sieve.
Looking forward to next year, without considering transfers, IMO the 2 deep looks like:
LT: Adams, Ory Williams
LG: Chester, Tyler Miller
C: Echols, Bordelon
RG: Curne, Khayree Lee
RT: Weston Davis, Ethan Calloway
I think we go after at least 1 OL in the portal, a G, but possibly a T too depending on if there’s any transfers out.

What’s the early reports on Echols?

Haven’t heard or seen anything recently. But the plan, at least as far as I knew, was to bring him along slowly. He never played Center until late in his senior year of HS so definitely a big learning curve and wasn’t ready this year, but he’s got the requisite skill set to be a good one.

He has underwhelmed this year, the whole O-line has. It would make sense, as of now I see his value in the draft is plummeting, I think he’s mocked in the 2nd right now.

Obviously i hope so too but some think it's just a matter of time, my post wasn't a "hoping" he flips but an "in case he flips" situation
