The playoff expansion is just going to be a financial windfall for college football

You know when they're pushing the narrative that Alabama and lsu are still in the playoff conversation
considering the seasons plural that they are having
and how normally outraged college football fans would be at this point of the season's cause you know the fans demand better than just winning football
you have to be championship football for them the fans to whine about it
And I mean that respectfully y'all are passionate college football fans and you know your stuff
This is gonna bring so much money into college football yeah it's the minor leagues the Nile money how the really big are gonna separate themselves from I mean it's gonna be 32 48 different team conversation so many teams are gonna be left behind in whatever is gonna be next I mean but they could also support the minor leagues which is what the rest of college football will become if they make an investment in it I just don't think that's the reason you make all the moves that they've made with expanding the playoffs just businesswise
its nothing to do with academics at all

College football fans are being duped just as badly as fight fans were last night. I’ll admit, I’m one of them. I’m caught up in the playoff chase after initially hating it. I’m old school. I can stomach split national titles, regional arguments, conference pride battles, and meaningful bowl games. I like my live mascots (not Omar), marching bands, Dixie, dotting of the i, Notre Dame’s gold helmets, and players being regular students.
All that shite is secondary to $$$, and the powers that be are trying to sell it as something we have craved. Sorry, not me. My life was good with the BCS, even the plus 1. I don’t need 10-2 teams getting a third chance because of their brand.

And they're gonna make so much money from the Texas T A & M rematch this year !!!!!!
