Now we know who's fault it is!

Glad the Malvetto Experiment Chapter is over in all of our lives!

Does this mean we're keeping Corey Raymond?

While it obviously didn't work at LSU, it has worked at many places, including Florida and Oklahoma recently.

I think it's less the system than the personnel. clearly there was something in the chemistry among the coaches and betwen the coaches and the players that wasn't right. Allegedly, they were playing the same schemes as Pelini. But the guys weren't executing, even allowing for their relative inexperience. It could work fine for him at NLSU. It might work fine at LSU with the right staff.

He's had pretty good defenses at NSU in the past, I'm sure he'll be fine.

The defense just didn't have an identity last year. They wanted to blitz, but didn't. Would play some man to man, and then lined corners up 10-12 yards off the ball and got picked apart.
Hopefully the new crew can instill a sense of direction in the D.

Hopefully Cooper can instill our DB's "sense of direction" to be somewhere in the same general vicinity as the opposing teams WR's, instead of playing 10-12 yards off of em. Wait, doesn't Chavis like playing a "Soft Zone"?........

The answer is in his name.

He probably never played the game, is only recently become a fan, and thus doesn't really know football. Yet, for some reason, he feels qualified to offer his opinion very strongly to others who do actually know a little bit about football.

So, he comes across as an idiot...for good reason.
