Could Nuss be the last pro style QB we see at LSU?

It definitely seems like the end of an era but I'm no expert. I also only watch LSU so I can't compare Nuss to any other college QBs. Just seems like these days even if you have pin point accuracy and a strong arm it's still not enough. The threat to run is a game changer.

What do you consider burrow? I wouldn’t call him a dual threat but he was more than capable, and willing, to take off and pick up some good gains. Nuss appears capable but just doesn’t run.

Lulz, Yeah as soon as a DT QB actually wins the Natl Championship

Our last DT Heisman winning QB lost 3 to 5 games over 5 years of starting

Burrow to me is the same style as Trevor Lawrence but a slightly different runner. T-Law is just a decently fast runner. Burrow played point guard in high school and he’s got quick feet that he can cause them big boys to miss when they are running full speed with all that weight.

Neither one are run first but aren’t scared too when the opportunity presents itself. Nuss doesn’t even look slow he just looks scared to use his feet. He definitely isn’t as agile as burrow tho.

I believe that is more than enough IF you have pocket presence and don't throw off your back foot 80% of your throws. Ewers and Beck are examples of that when they are on. It would definitely be enough if you simply were not a statue and could scramble for positive yardage. Nuss actually did this in the second half of the Bama game but it was too little and much too late.

This is an ignorant post.

Jayden Daniels did not lost 3 to 5 games over 5 years of starting. His team lost those games. You'd be hard pressed to blame any of those losses on Daniels.

Thanks for proving my point.

The best you can do is to point to one game. Texas A&M scored 35 points.

And while battling the flu, he rushed for 7.0 yards per carry for 84 yards.

And you're welcome to compare Daniels' stats to Nuss's stats against A&M.

I knew you would be back

Against FSU he was sacked 4 times. Against Tenn 5 times. Because he wouldnt throw unless the WR was wide open. Nuss WRs cannot even get separation. Then against UGA on out 1st drive we were 3rd and goal at the 5. JD gets sacked for 9 yards. They blocked the FG attempt, and return it for a 96 yd TD. Nuss comes in when we are down 28 to 7. Nuss scores on the first drive in the 3rd qtr vs the 1s. Scores 20 points in the 2nd half

RobbBobb, sometimes you're frustratingly moronic, like a five-year-old who sticks a fork into an outlet or constantly runs into objects with his head.

But oftentimes, I just feel bad for you. I don't know your IQ. I don't know if you went to a special school. I hesitate to insult your intelligence because the insults might be embarrassingly accurate.

Nevertheless, at some point you have to get it through your head. You have to learn what everyone else has either known or accepted.

Nuss is NOT as good as Daniels. He's just not.

And it's not close.

Are you calling Vince young a pocket passer?

Are you denying they won a NC?

Or are you implying that a DT qb can succeed elsewhere but not at LSU
