We would’ve fired BK today. He’s never won a meaningful post season game in his life, his offensive scheme is horrible, and he’s just an unlikeable person. Imagine wasting the golden era of LSU athletics on this old fart

He has broken the LSU football program

I fear that by the time he is gone it might not be recoverable

We can't fire him due to what we owe him. Face it, we are stuck with him.

Next year we lose to Clemson, South Carolina, and Ole Miss or Bama

Year after we have Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee (Nico will be a JR)

When does he go 10-2 or 11-1?

Be careful what you say about BK ! I brought this up a few weeks back and the BK diehards went nuts and listed all the reasons he was the right man for the job and how 25, 26 will be our year and Underwood will win 3 Heismans and 3 nattys here .

Also don’t forget he inherited 11 scholarships from O !!! Never forget the 2022 class of 11 , our modern version of the junction boys , BK came in with the lowest scholarships since SMU if you ask some of these cock smokers .

Eh, recruiting is still great. We just need an actual coach, not some ceo bullshite anymore

I am by no means defending the bullshite we have seen this season but yall are jumping off the cliff too soon. In 2008 and 2009 LSU took a bunch of arse whippings and CLM was able to turn it around for a really good run from 2010-2012 and then be pretty competitive from 2013-2016. The issue is just being competitive isn't enough at LSU.

I am not saying that BK turns us into a championship level team but I am saying that 1 disappointing season and super shitty loss to Bama doesn't necessarily mean we are headed back to Coach O's 6-6 type seasons. Its definitely not out of the realm of possibility but its not a foregone conclusion either.

I am just as much on the "is BK the right guy, right now" bandwagon as anyone else, but this argument always bothers me.

How many active coaches have won a meaningful postseason game? Assuming we are talking about playoff games, here is the list of currently active coaches that have even been to the playoff:

Dabo
Kirby
Day
Dykes
Deboer
Kelly
Sark
Fickell
Riley

Of those, only 5 have won a game - Dabo, Kirby, Day, Dykes, and Deboer.

As much as people scream and yell for coaches that have won meaningful games, there are really only a few that are even coaching right now that fit that bill.

look the last 6 quarters have been AWFUL, but firing a coach three quarters into his 3rd season, who has won 70% of his games or whatever it is, just is not realistic or really desirable.

So why are we paying him top money for mediocre results then? Our expectations for 10M per is CFP + title, not this dogshit we are seeing on the field.

Championships and playoffs is the expectation at LSU. I was just saying that I am not trying to tell you the BK is the man to do that. I am just saying that I don't think we are headed for Coach O 2020 and 2021 type of seasons because of this loss.

BK probably gets 3 years with Underwood whether we like it or not and if he still can't get it done then he's gone. I am not here to tell you that BK is doing great, I just don't believe the wheels completely fall off. I think we stay a 9-3ish team unless Underwood really is THAT good and the recruiting can make up for the issues we have currently.

Look. I am not a fan of brian kelly right now, but are we going to pretend the direction Orgeron had the program going in was okay? My God

Inherited 11 scholarship players?? The way some talk you would think it was -11 and building a roster takes at least 8 years.

Our only hope is that BKs wife sucks him off and gives him an Oscar worthy speech about how as a man he has to get out there and go.

We’re not physical, LSU is a smash mouth program that has been altered into this BK era. DB’s aren’t what they were, OL / DL aren’t what they were. If we could get the teams we had in the Miles era, with an offensive minded coach we’d be unstoppable.

But we’re not. And we have three losses and the ability to drop another one before it’s said and done.

We're losing to Bama. Bama owns LSU. Bama isn't fearful of LSU any kind of way. You can add Aggy to the list. Elko eviscerated BK.
