With BK no doubt staying through the next few years, here's the 2025-2026 outlook.

I think 2025 will be an 8-9 win season.

Barring some incredible portal QB or a JD level skill increase from Nuss, it's gonna be pretty rough.

2026 though? If this years class holds, it's natty or bust. Honestly . Underwood is the real fricking deal. Don't know if BK has the nutsack to start a freshman QB year one, but I'd also take that even if it means myriad mistakes.

Underwood is this guy's last chance to climb the mountain period.

One thing I am 100% certain of is that we’re losing to Clemson game 1

I'll take 7 wins right now for next year if I could get it. The offense will be HORRIBLE! You think the OL is bad this year? Wait.

WR's will be worse unless, Hilton and Shelton make a big jump.

TE will be worse.

RB's will be the only position that will be better than this year, if Holly returns.

Defense will be better, but that doesn't say much.

8-4 in 2025, Cheese-It Bowl appearance

7-5 in 2026, Shreveport or Birmingham Bowl

I do think Baker is a good DC and I think the defensive personnel will be better next year.

Offense is going to be worse regardless of what happens with Nuss. We will be breaking in a new OL and WR’s, so there isn’t going to be a Jefferson/chase, Nabers/Thomas duo for him to help bring him to the next level.

I'll 100% judge him by next year because I truly think if he's putting so much into HS recruits I'm not putting any stock into that 15 man class in 2022. Even if that class had 2 great tackles and HP. That abomination set us back and I will partially judge Kelly on not getting the pieces we needed in the transfer portal for 3rd year type players for this season.

Change that around.

Next year will be a joke.

After that, I think we will be back to at least 10 wins.
