They aren’t even going to get a top pick out of this waste of a season, and likely keep Rizzi for the cherry on top.

To be honest it doesn’t really matter. There’s no clear coveted QB this year. Picking 5th might be no different than picking 10th this year.

Its so much more important to find a head coach and create a culture before getting a higher pick. If Rizzi is that guy (we’ll see) that could be better than getting a higher pick.

I don’t want my comment to indicate I’m advocating for Rizzi. I seriously doubt that will be the case. After all he was the special teams coach who had Lou Hedley as his punter. So that’s strike one and two if I’m being honest.

We were never going to be so bad to land a top 3 pick (Sanders, Hunter, Ward). And at this rate we'll be too good to get Mason Graham (top DT).
We'll still be able to get someone like Abdul Carter (DE), Will Campbell (T), Tetairoa McMillan (WR), Tyler Booker (G), Nic Scourton (DE).
