My Eyes Are Telling Me Something About Players

When looking at Bama players and comparing them to ours, they are bigger, faster, seem more athletic.
Kind of like we look when playing a meh team (you can name them).
I've never noticed such a difference as I saw last night.
So, keep recruiting and developing until we catch up. We need a lot more jimmies and joes and baws that can compete at the top level.

I have read your posts and upvoted most of them, but not all. Even though you have some enemies here, I'm not one of them.

Milroe is faster than every person on defense

There was a distinctive difference in the trenches. It was noticeable when they lined up before the play even happened and they rectally examined us. They just look stronger. Not just big, but ripped.

Totally true. We failed the “eye test” almost on every play. Our O-line should watch tape of what their o-line was doing. In the 2nd half you could hear the pity in Herbstreit’s voice as he mentioned the need to recruit better. He also accurately pointed out that Bama was geeked up, violent, stronger, quicker.
Regarding Milroe making us look like fools, remember that Jayden Daniels was doing that to our opposition last year. You win some, you lose some…

We look very slow on defense. Milroe was skating around us while we were stuck in mud.
Strength appears to be a problem on both lines
No number 1 receiver. No receiver is good at getting separation.
Only one running back has any sort of home run threat and he’s hobbled.

Milroe is def a freak and not likely to see another like him for a long time. He's big, quick, top-end super fast, and still has that wiggle.

I saw an opposing team that smelled blood in the water and they absolutely attacked a wounded team and stepped on its necks until it was lifeless.
Hadn’t seen that in a team from Baton Rouge since 2019.

It’s scheme, coaching, and players believing in the scheme.
How did Vandy look better than and beat Alabama?
The offense looked pitiful last night. It’s telling that they didn’t believe in what they were doing.

To a degree but the big difference is the coaching staff at Alabama had their team ready to play and we did not. Have you watched Alabama play this year? They were on a different level last night and every time we got a slight ray of hope we shot ourself in the foot. It was a cocktail of things not just one. If you came home to an empty house and your wife left you it was not just one late night out with the boys, you did a lot of shite wrong. LSU did a lot of shite wrong last night.

Our S&C program needs a serious look for sure

This is Kelly's third year. Why don't we have good enough players in his 3rd year?
We have Sage Ryan starting. It's obvious this guy doesn't want to play football. He just roams around and every once in a while bumps into someone. Unfortunately, it is usually someone on his own team.
Who's fault is that in year 3?
We have a OL Coach who thought he could coast this year. All he did this year is eat a lot. Who is going to play on the OL next year?
Whose fault is that in year 3?
The worse thing that happened is Kelly winning the SEC west in year one. I think he thought to himself, "I did this in year 1, I'll win the National Championship in year 3 for sure".
Yet, didn't get the players to do that.
Quit giving NIL money to the Sage Ryan's on the team.

You are absolutely correct in your observation. We do not have the studs particularly on defense. I give Blake Baker props for our defense getting better, but his linebackers and safeties and corners are not good.

The difference I noticed is that Vandy beat this gump team. LSU did not belong on the same field last night. This team is a long way from anything the fans expect from hiring Kelly. I think we have to admit that so far he is better than O and that's about it. So LSU or someone pays 100M dollars for this pile of buffalo bagels. Great.

Another 3+ loss team brought to you by Brian Kelly.
3 wins against teams worth a shite in 3 years. He can’t get his team to beat good teams and that’s a fact. Same as when he coached at ND. Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M and Ole Miss to name a few are much better programs at this point.

Because the play calling is abysmal. Please, let’s throw another RB flair in the flats on 3rd and 15 in the rain. No excuse for that bullshite.

BK has been unable to prepare his team. What is he doing as coach? Complete fail.
