I waited out the early rush and went to vote about 9AM. Usually this is a slow time as a lot of people are headed to work by 8.

To my surprise, the lines were longer than expected and I had to wait about 15 minutes to vote.

While in line, the lady checking ID's shouted twice over the crowd, "Another first time voter!!!" and everybody clapped. Both first time voters looked to be in their 30's.

How do they know someone is a first time voter when you sign in?

Was the 2nd person in line this morning (south county Rhode Island.. Trump stronghold in the bluest of blue states)

We in fact have 3 Dim states reps on the ballot running unopposed. You know I had to write in..

I don't know. Maybe she was asking them, or figuring it out because of the questions they were asking her.

Likely asked questions due to first time and they’re proud so they let them know. It’s a good thing more people are involved.

I went to vote in Metairie at 10:30. I was only voter there. When I was walking out, a woman was going in.

Mentioned it earlier, but here in Daphne AL, I was gonna vote at 7am. Line was insane. Decided to come back at 10, but got antsy and got there at 9:30. 90 minute line, finally got back to my car at 11:15. And the line was even longer by the time I left.

Daphne has 30K people, tops. Seemed like every one of them were assigned to my precinct

Pretty cheerful group, too. Had a good time, but wish they were a Hell of a lot more efficient.

I’d very extremely surprised if Caddo votes red this year.

Extremely surprised.
