Ladies of the PB ONLY

Just kidding; love y'all baws, I'm just curious about the ladies' perspective.
I've seen men post that their wives are further right than they are. Do any other ladies run into that in their own homes? I know it happens in my house. My husband trusts me to pick who we should vote for locally because I follow local politics more closely than he does.
We disagreed in the 2016 primaries; I went for Rand Paul (despite being a member of r/The_Donald for the memes) in the primaries and he voted for Ben Carson (I'm not even mad; Ben Carson is a genius). But we've both been all-in for DJT ever since he won the 2016 primaries.
Sometimes, he even expresses views that border on moderate, and although I love him more than anything or anyone else on the planet, he gets the terrifying "wife eyes".
Anyone other married ladies help advise their husbands on the correct political path?
Single ladies, have you ever ditched a man because he was a progtard pansy?

We are both very tuned in and independent thinking. Just so happens we always agree. Despite what the hag’s commercial says I would have zero fear expressing a different opinion.

It's cool you're a Trump chick, but I kinda prefer girls to be dense on politics honestly. But good on you for knowing what's best for your country.
I have no problem admitting I like the bimbo type lol

You’ll have better luck with the cat ladies of the OT.
Besides Cubbies, all the ladies that post here are Conservative, hot AF and have virile Republican husbands. Not those little twink Dem soylords.

My wife came here from Cuba when she was 16. She’s 43 now. I’m so close with her parents and family. They’re the epitome of the American Dream. She wasn’t political at all until she went back to Cuba for the first time in 2010. She came back and as a real adult, saw what we have and what they didn’t.
She’s not loud about it and keeps her views to herself and close friends.

My husband and I are very aligned politically, conservative Republicans. He trusts me to research and select our candidates and that is how he votes. He doesn’t like paperwork

Doubtful, but you never know.

At the beginning of our marriage, my husband really didn't like to talk politics but leaned conservative. I have always followed politics and been very interested in it. I assume thats partly due to growing up listening to Rish Limbaugh in the car with my parents. But thennnnn Covid happened and alll the bullshite happened and then the election of 2020 happened. You can't help but get political when it starts effecting your life. I still am way more MAGA than him but he is coming along just fine. Funny thing, I was cleaning out the junk drawer one day a couple years ago and found an old voter registration of his and I about died because he was a registered Dem. I was so insulted. Made him get that shite changed real fast

I’m a single lady.
I’ve usually dated (and once married) men who have similar world views to me, with the exception that they have usually been more socially conservative as me.
I would also say, that I find it much easier to discuss politics with men, than women. Women I know typically are less likely to have committed political opinions and vote on feels.
I think that the Kamala / Julia Roberts shaming ad campaign, resulted from these banshees having friends who aren’t honest with THEM about their voting preferences. I find that if I know another woman who is a Democrat or an Abortionbot, it’s fricking impossible to have a rational discussion about politics that doesn’t deteriorate immediately into not letting me finish a sentence. I basically have a select group of female friends who I will discuss politics with - plus I’ll talk about it with my mom.
Men are easy to talk politics with - bc they don’t take it personally when you disagree with them, and they usually listen. If you’re married to someone you’re scared to tell who you’re voting for - you probably need to reevaluate your marriage and GTFO. Neither Kamala nor Trump are saving you from that kind of psycho.
ETA- I couldn’t be romantically involved with a progtard. There is legitimately nothing sexually appealing about a dude that wouldn’t kill everyone in sight if someone tried to hurt me. Nothing. I just see progressive dudes as the kind of men who want women to fend for themselves. They’re not respecting your intelligence, they’re lazy.

I converted my husband and all but one of his entire family to NON DEMOCRATS 18 years ago.
He is a poli junkie now and vv smart.
Carson and Rand Paul are great choices, you are a good smart lady.
This board (mostly all men) think women shouldn't vote because of the Karen Kamala's. They forget about all the smart women around Trump. Melania first and foremost. So don't let them troll your thread. Ignore them.
This is a ladies only thread they need to go play outside.

Raise your standards, baw. Find you a good, pretty woman that loves you, your future children, and the Lord, and you will have a good life.

I will bump this if I see Tex Ridder on. But I'm pretty sure she doesn't have a human family. I bet she has at least 7 cats though.

Ordinarily, in a non-election season, you could’ve just addressed your post to Wednesday.

My wife is 2nd generation American with Mexican roots. We have been married for 42 years. When we married, she was Republican, I was Democrat. She really didn't influence me, but with reality of a family, a house, and of course taxes, I began to notice I felt less and less in touch with the Democrat message. As you can guess, my wife is staunch MAGA and I am as well. I don't profess to be a Republican, but rather an Independent with mostly conservative values. But today, I am proud of my Mexican wife who will not back down on any argument in defending her position to anyone on being Republican.
