I still can’t believe we didn’t take a second to prepare for a dual threat qb last week

Reed played great vs Florida and played in other games. How the hell don’t you account for him in any compacity that he can come in the game in any game situation if they needed him?

This is all on Kelly. Poor planning and preparation.

Defensive staff made zero adjustments as the game went on last week. That was the frustrating part

Its the same offense they had prepared for the previous 2 weeks. If you cared to pay attention, BK explained this.

But I dont expect the countless pro bowlers here to be able to understand that.

When they showed Kelly and Baker on the sideline like I don’t know what to do and Kelly squatting on the sideline because we didn’t have an answer was very frustrating.

They ran 2 plays. Burns, gilbert, sage, penn, weeks all know how to defend read option and bash plays. It's basic football assignment. We 2 and 3 player tackled the rb like 10 times last week

It’s been proven we didn’t prepare. And we pay this coach 10 milli a year. It’s honestly embarrassing. I still can’t believe how terrible we were in the 2nd half.

and averaged 1.3 yds per carry against Arkansas and then didn’t play for a month.

Rickie Collins had more rushing yards over the previous month than Reed did.

how much time do you think anyone spends preparing for Collins?

proven?
how?

we’ve literally played against that style of offense multiple times this year.
including just the week before?

the guy executed at a high level and we missed tackles.

but i guess you need a boogie man to blame, so go ahead.

You are WAY over everybody in this thread's head. They need something to whine about, so let them have this one.

You would have to pay CBK $20M a year for him to put in that overtime.

Elite Performance requires Elite Preparation.

I agree. Total failure in prep for a QB that had a very high chance of playing plus there’s plenty of game film on him from this year. Pitiful prep.

You're an idiot and proving yourself ignorant on this. As we have tried to explain, this was no special offense. They ran 2 different plays and our guys simply didnt execute.

We had already faced at least 2 offenses that run this.

So frick the players right? Greg Penn said they didn’t prepare for Reed. Did you miss that or it just went over your head? It’s all coaches speak. That’s on coaching. I’m not saying the players didn’t play a part in it. But they were banking on Weigman being the guy all game. I mean they didn’t even adjust all second half as they were running the same play! Baker is a great with what he has inherited. I’m just saying Kelly’s track record here is showing from game one. Unprepared and undisciplined football. Let’s call it for what it really is and take off the purple and gold glasses for a minute. Don’t get me started on our offense. It’s frustrating as a fan to see this every week.

Could we have been more prepared. Yes. But momentum is real. And when the qb comes in after a bad interception on the 8 yard line. Well. Big mo changed.

Taking care of all the details is what separates your Sabans and Belicheks from your Kellys and Norvels

You can call me whatever you want bubba. Frankly it doesnt upset me. If it was such a frequent and simple offense and it’s been ran against us then shite that’s honestly even more embarrassing.

ok, check this out.
literally one week before that game, be played that exact style of offense and shut it down.

you don’t just completely forget that and ignore every practice you had before the week of the game.

did we spend time this particular week on it? no.
because no coach prepares for a backup that literally has never taken a single competitive snap when the starter is healthy.

but if you want to go on thinking that player wipe their memory of multiple other weeks like they’re a computer or something, go ahead.

literally nothing they did was new to LSU.
nothing at all.

give that kid credit he executed at a very high level. And we had guys that straight up missed tackles.
