I throw a lot of shade at Griff and how he has handled the rebuild, but since the disaster that was the trade down in the 2019 draft, this team really has done a nice job finding guys later in the draft that give quality minutes. The only real complete whiff since was Kira.
Missi, Hawkins, Alvarado, Herb Jones, Dyson, Trey is a pretty solid track record. Getting cost controlled quality minutes in the draft is essential for a low budget team like New Orleans.

We’ve done great finding diamonds for sure. It’s been our ability to maximize top level talent that’s the issue
