The so call song talking out the side of your neck that LSU plays now after they kick the extra point that every one waves there hand in the air has been played for about 20 years by ever swac band including southern university. And it sounds 10 times better. I tired of hearing them mess that song up and every one thinks they got something new. If they are going to play it at least play it right. There band was voted one of the top bands but espn said they were not the best in there own state . This is like the movie bring it on. Until they start playing songs that are up to date and that get there football team hype and enjoy like swac school bands they have along way to go.Remember what color most of the players are so I don't think they enjoy it. Usc band plays everything so everyone is happy so hey it might help get players. Old miss the same problem you know how hard it is to get good ath. when your band is playing dixie. Houston nut is trying its hardest to get rid of all of that so hey as little importance as a band seems it can make a big difference. Yes. The only reason I go to Tiger Stadium is to watch the band play.

College bands don't steal songs... They all play the same things. They just put their own little twist on it to make it their version. Our Neck doesn't sound like Southerns neck. It's the same base song used, but they are different. Stop whinning.
