I'll be in BR on a business trip with a colleague and we were looking for a fun round one afternoon. A while back I recall The Bluffs being a good option for a public/semi-private course, but I know they were closed for a stretch.

Internet searches are yielding mixed results... has anyone played there recently and would recommend it. If not, any recommendations on something within an hour or so drive of Baton Rouge?

Greens are in decent shape for this time of year, a little fuzzy. Fairways are great, tee boxes a little dry. You’ll probably be the only one out there.

It’s been closed. Try Beaver Creek, Pelican Point, Santa Maria, Copper Mill, Fennwood, City Park.

Play Coppermill
New greens rolling true
6/6/6 format with 2 short par 4s
No range, though

Absolutely primo condition right now. 100% no brainer to make the drive and play.

The ones saying it's closed are messing with you. Trying to keep the course to themselves.

Copper mill over Pelican

Pelican is going to be crowded if you can even get on
