I think there are a lot of people trying to wait until the Tax Year flips before they lock in their profits, so that might help put a floor under some of these high flyers.
First quarter of 2025 could get ugly.

Is an AI meltdown or the fact that a huge earnings week has been pretty lackluster?

Earnings were good until MSFT & META last night (other than SMCI)
SMCI is starting to look a little ENRONesque.
I think that's causing some people to wonder if there are other AI High Flyers that have been full of shite regarding their numbers & guidance.

Not if you buy the company, and realize AI is about to change the world .

You have to be an Alter of that other guy that was asking if it was time to short AI a few months back.

You really should start following the AI news, and quit hoping for companies to fail.

Not hoping for anything.
Just reporting stock information.
I don't know why people get angry at others when their stocks drop.

Umm...no

AMD, PYPL, ROKU, SOFI, SBUX, CMG, UBER etc

It's been so bad that RDDT has stood out this week

GOOGL beat mostly because of cloud revenue

What do Starbucks & Chipotle have to do with AI Stocks ?
The Nasdaq hit a new All Time High yesterday.
The tech stocks you listed are small fries compared to MSFT & META.

Didn't post this news to have a pissing match with anyone.
Good Luck, have a good day!

Dude, you are trying to say AI is the only reason the market is down. I am trying to tell you that the whole earnings week has been shite across all sectors and probably has a lot to do with overall market sentiment.

Then why did the Nasdaq hit an All Time High yesterday ?
The Tech Meltdown started last night after MSFT & META earnings.

Don't have time to argue.
Good Luck & Have a Good Day

MSFT is down 5% Today.
It's more about Guidance than earnings.

Have a good one, gotta go, good luck to everyone.

Man, you really are educating us idiots that don't understand the market.

Their guidance was demand for Azure outpaces capacity and they are investing heavily in chips to handle AI capacity. The kicker is that their suppliers can't keep up with the demand for the data center infrastructure which is why they are predicting they won't be able to meet demand leading to slower-than-expected growth.

The only part investors didn't like is they literally can't keep up with AI demand. Not that AI is melting down.

But hey thanks for letting us know the AI meltdown is happening even though we haven't even reached the end of the 1st phase of AI adoption.

There, changed it just for you.
To show my support for the board I bought the dip on NVDA & QQQ.
So far so good.
Set my stops so can't lose.
Hopefully things rally and we all make money.

Peace.

Peace.

It is too early to worry about the AI run. The numbers from these companies are pretty good. I am staying in. NVDA's market cap is ridiculous, but so are their financial numbers with every report.
