he will be missed if so
the offense definitely had more issues when he went out
they showed him going in tent after the play he was injured, looked like knee but not sure

Damn, that would be a big loss. The freshman backup did not look ready.

That’s definitely not good, especially with our top backup OL already out for the season.

What kind of surgery? Wart removed? Open heart quadruple bypass? Kind of makes a difference.
If he had tightrope procedure he could be back in 3-4 wks…

I would imagine that the recovery would take longer carrying that weight.

I would think he tore a ligament requiring surgery. If so, he’s prob out for the year.

Less than that. 2 weeks

I wonder what he will do if he is out for an extended period? He’s more of a marginal draft prospect, so if he can’t go in the combine or for individual workouts, his chances of being drafted will definitely take a hit.
I’m not sure if he would do it, but would he have a shot at an injury redshirt for a 5th season? He’s played in 8 games this season, but he never redshirted, so he could possibly get a 5th year from the NCAA if he’s out for the year.
I hope it’s not severe and he can get back and finish this season. I guess we should know something this week.

He probably had tightrope surgery.
If thats the case then probably 3-4 weeks

Georgia's offensive guard, Tate Ratledge, had the tight rope surgery on his ankle and was out for a month.

Don't be dumb and try to figure some way he might be back. If he had surgery on his ankle, at his size, there is ZERO chance he should even consider coming back. Him at half speed is no where near better than his backup would be.

Definitely missing heards run blocking

Losing him really hurt. Mubenga was soft as charmin. Losing him also took away veteran help from Chester.
Without a capable back up it could literally sink the remainder of the season.
