Yeah yeah another one of these threads. But. Kelly didn't make terrible decisions with the football. Kelly wasn't the one missing FG. Kelly wasnt dropping passes.

You can bag on him for Sloan and a predictable offense, but last night was not on kelly

Kelly is the one that prepared the product to play.

The two missed FG would have been Ramos career long. A month ago we wouldn’t have even attempted those because there was no trust in the defense. The decision to kick at least two, and possibly all 3, was dicey at best.

Those series needed to be called from a presumption of 4th down territory.

Inability to control the LOS and establish the run in year 3 with the “best OL evar” ultimately falls on him.

The reason we lost is Nussmeier. We did things wrong outside of that but if Nussmeier plays well we would’ve won that game. Even without being prepared for a run QB. That’s all secondary because Nuss playing was truly that bad.

BK only redeems himself by raking every coach over the coals, giving them the ultimatum of I never want to see this again and MOST IMPORTANTLY holding them accountable on a daily basis until they prove they can be left alone.-

Why oh why is coaching any different than business. Can you imagine what would happen to managers who exhibited total clueless behavior when the company was negotiating one of it's 12 largest deals of the year?

This us the biggest thing to me.

How have they not figured out the running game. Kelly's teams could always run the ball.

I will never understand why they are keeping it so vanilla. Help your offense out with some easy yards and plays.

But Kelly is responsible for not preparing for Reed.

I agree. At some point, the players have to play. BK didn't drop passes, or throw the ball to the other team, or miss a tackle, or jump presnap, etc.

He’s good but he’s not Joe or Jaden. It’s simple, we had 0 run game last night. LSU win’s shootout if we had a mobile QB. Nuss held up as long as he could but he became desperate because he had to throw practically every down and the rush got stronger and stronger as the game went on. The lack of running game doomed the offense. We are what we are.

He made 47 and 48 yarders last week and won player of the game and you expect him to get passed over this game?

We shouldn’t have been kicking field goals. That’s on Kelly

You can sure as hell blame him for not making sure this team was prepared for marcel reed, that single handedly changed the game. You were essentially shutting their offense down beforehand.

LSU is an extremely undisciplined football team. Kelly and staff are largely responsible for this. All of it? No.

But this is a big part of the problem.

We can't run the ball, which puts even more pressure on Nuss to make perfect throws.

Special teams are not good. That's on BK for not hiring a dedicated special teams coach.

At the end of the day, it begins and ends with Kelly.

How did they not prepare for Marcel Reed? Inexcusable.

Coaches can prepare till they’re blue in the face, if players don’t execute, it’s on them…
