Anyone nervous about this matchup
with Joe Sloan being a first time OC at this level? I know we have a personnel advantage on offense vs their defense ..but is Joe Sloan susceptible to being out coached in this spot ?

I’d say Elko has a huge advantage here. But is he the one actually calling the defense for aTm?

I’d think BK knows how to beat an Elko defense. Sloan ain’t alone.

Don’t think it’s a big deal with Elko being Kelly’s DC in the past. I’m sure Sloan and Kelly have gone over Elko’s tendencies this week.

Elko is one of the best dc in the nation. Having daniels questionable is a big hit, as nuss liked having he and lacey as outlets against arkansas. It's a concern, since red zone offense has been very bad.

Hopefully introducing tre to wr spot, and maybe add some more zavion dives, etc, to offset what we can't do without daniels out there, gives enough options. Rb dumps may be the go to chain mover this game.

Biggest test of the year, team and environment. Bama has a better roster then them, but we get them at home.

Worried about playcalling, their dline, moss, and the 7 false starts we had at arky, and louder/ bigger crowd now. Guys have been stepping up and playing hungrier and have no quit though. Hope they can pull a W out.

No. If Oline keeps Nuss upright, like they’ve done all season, we will be alright.

Worried about Turner and Stewart having an ever bigger impact then Nolan did single handedly, against our guards/ center. Scourton will win moments against Campbell or Jones as well.

More concerned about the interior against top 20 recruits and soon to be top 60 nfl picks.

Inside oline holds up well, we beat em

All valid points here. What we do have going for us is the experience from South Carolina. Also an elite DL that was a handful. We will see similar looks tonight. Hopefully lessons were learned.

They just gotta be able to run better when in the red zone and not settle for 3, hard to always throw it in down there

Did you listen to BKs presser about how Elko has changed? Him as a DC with Kelly is not the same coach he is now. His packages match personnel and runs a very unpredictable defense.
