Bama would look weak and beatable in September only to become a NC contender by November?

It is a sign of great in season coaching and player development.

LSU has that now.

Bama doesn't.

I'm not ready to crown us a juggernaut yet. If we are able to win this weekend, I will be much more confident. Winning both games in back to back road SEC games is incredibly tough.

We need to worry about Aggy first.

We’re FAR from a juggernaut, there’s no “yet” because we aren’t there

Good news is no one in the SEC is a juggernaut

Also I disagree with OP about Bama, when’s the last time they had 2 losses by October?

shite whens’ the last time they lost to Vandy

We can all be happy that this team is showing improvement as the year progresses, but let's maybe tap the brakes a bit ffs.

Not sure if this is a rhetorical question or not, but I believe the answer to the first question is 2007, and I know the answer to the second question is 1984.

It was rhetorical but I appreciate this just the same

my point was basically, before 2009 we weren’t looking at Bama the same way we are now. OP says there have been Bama teams that didn’t look good only to become natty contenders. We haven’t seen anything like this since Saban took over, though.

Bama isn’t horrible, but I’d be shocked if they make the playoffs this year, and I cannot fathom them winning a playoff game.

Don't worry, Bama won't make the playoffs because after we beat them they are OUT for sure!

Bama is still a good team...two close losses on the road.

I am not ready to write them off yet...
