Haven't seen that guy on WBRZ in the mornings in about a month. I know Brandi left and not sure if JP is still there or not.

He probably went into hiding ahead of the election to prepare his safe space in case Trump wins.

I remember when his son was a reporter there and for some reason got his arse stomped outside Tiger Stadoim after an LSU game. Forget the details of what led to the fists........... As for JP I think he and BPH were all caught up in dat jungle fever and he took her leaving hard.

I hope so, for 2 reasons: (1)He's been at Channel 2 since at least the 80's, so it's time for him to move on, and (2)Pastorek, based on what I see on air, fancies himself as a comedian, musician, and singer. He's none of these things. He's just corny and stale.

Today they said he was on vacation. But he's been gone over a month.

And what happened to Brandy B? She disappeared.

Yeah, that's a little odd.

Now I won't recognise anyone on the media here. They have all retired or passed away.

Although, I never had much respect for the local media to begin with. It has always been biased and never represented the community. And they don't even have a forum to post your opinions on anymore.

She moved from an independently owned WBRZ to a station owned by Hearst Tv. It probably gives her more room for advancement since they own 35 stations (as opposed to 1).

I’ve never known talented on air personalities getting “stuck” at WBRZ. Local stations including WBRZ have always served as a springboard for ambitious talents.

I didn’t say she was stuck there or say that WBRZ was a dead end. You have a lot of the younger people try and get in these large media companies (like Hearst, Gray, etc) because they own a bunch of stations all over the country. It makes for a much more seamless transition if you are trying to get into other roles or other markets.

You implied Harris was stuck somehow and had to leave and take a lesser position so she could advance.

The lady was a featured personality. Going to NO at a much lesser gig doesn’t sound like a good move for a veteran talent.

No kidding. I'm surprised Nakamoto stayed so long and Fallon is still here.
