It was, especially after that 2nd out. Senga needs to settle into the game next inning.

It appears he has not. Looks like we're gonna need some late inning Mets magic and another comeback for a W

why in God's name does MLB have game 2 of the NLCS starting at 2pm on a non-holiday Monday afternoon?

swear, it's like this league purposely wants to sabotage their ratings and existence. no one makes it harder to watch their product than Major League Baseball.

Mets had a couple of guys on when I said that and I thought for sure a three run jack was coming. Dodgers immediately flipped the script, though.

33 scoreless playoff innings in a row by the boys in blue. That’s astonishing.

And props to Roberts for letting his starter go 7 when he was dealing. I know his pitch count was getting up there but I half expected him to come out and start the 8th.

How about Ben Casparius pitching a scoreless 9th? I've been following this kid since they drafted him in round 5 back in 2021. He kind of stalled for awhile but he really put it together in the minors this year. I like this kid's moxie. He throws hard and some of the Dodgers scouts think he has the best slider in the Dodgers farm system
