Louisiana is the most stressed out state to work in.

Around many of the plants in La, the traffic is pretty shitty, especially if you are at the LNG facility down south of Belle Chasse.

Part of that has to be due to traffic. Go to the intercoastal on Hwy 1 between 3:30 - 6PM during the week when traffic is backed up all the way to Brusly high school. It has to be stressful AF to be in that shite every day. The people who work in BR but live outside of BR. What used to be a 30 min drive is now a 45 min drive at best.

Then if you work for a company who is dependent on contracts from plants (which is a lot of jobs). One day it might seem like things are going to be busy for a long time, the next day things slow down, projects are put on hold then you have to worry about how long things will last before jobs start getting cut.

If these politicians would just do some shite they can do to improve things, it would help out.

Like what?

Other than building a new bridge for BR of course.

I've moved around the country, traffic is bad everywhere. Too many cars, and realistically just not enough infrastructure for it.

It’s amazing how fast traffic backs up. Literally no traffic until 3:30 and then an instant traffic jam. Maybe the plants could do something about it.

Went down to Venice for a fishing trip a few weeks ago. That traffic coming back from Chevron Oronite (or maybe even farther) to Belle Chasse was unbelievable.

That is a big moneymaker for Chevron.

The refinery below it is now a terminal so much less traffic from there.

When the LNG plant is completed, it will calm down to like the Freeport Sulfur plant levels. Port Sulfur was built just for that plant. The sulfur plant ain't dere for 2 decades

We just passed through there heading toward Venice. That LNG plant is insane. They had several parking lots and about 20 busses parked all over to run people to and from the project.
I couldn’t imagine driving through there in morning or quitting time
