Alligator tag value

We got $1.66 per inch this year for our gators.

Brother gets about 8-10 tags a year. Not much value due to the amount of work required to catch kill load in boat, load in truck, skin butcher

Gator prices have come down a lot over the years. I remember watching "Swamp People" when it first started and they'd say they'd get $200 for a 10 ft. gator. Over the years the price has dropped a hell of a lot.

The most laughable part about that show in the early days was how the narrator would claim an 8 ft. gator weighed 450 lbs. and there was that skinny arse Willy Edwards pulling them into the boat one handed.
