Anyone have one? I like the thought of dungeon crawling in VR.

I have a 3 and two 2s. The kids love it. I have enjoyed it when I have time. They just adopted many of the Apple vision multi screen capabilities, I have not tried that yet.

Is it that much of an upgrade over the 2?

Never played the 2. Not sure if it has the pass through capabilities of the 3. I ended up getting one and it kind of blew my mind away. It is somewhat buggy however.

I was messing around with it and found the bigscreen app where you can stream movies and join public spaces where others are hosting movies/shows. Watched some baseball with a group last night and it was actually incredible.

Made me wonder if anyone would join the an SEC Rant lobby if I hosted one on game day?

That sounds awesome. Is it only recorded games?

I haven't tried it yet but you connect to your computer. Streaming might not be possible but it seems realistic

3 is way better than the 2, however, it’s immersive on either. If my kids wrangle me into it I play the 2 and soon you are not thinking of graphics. I think both can do pc vr really well. The 3 has the in color pass through that lets you do the mixed reality games. Also, my 3 is the 512gb version which has advantages over the 128 gb I have on the 2’s. In general I would say it’s shocking how many fun games have, objectively, really out dated graphics, but they are so immersive you don’t care. There are games with good graphics, just lots of things out there that don’t need it. Think about the space you have to play and how big you are too. Swinging a sword full extension at strength will hurt if you hit something or if you punch your kids bunk bed fighting zombie or mechanical dogs or whatever.

I've run the 2 on MS Flight Sim 2020 plenty. May depend some on your tower hardware but it was smooth on smaller planes away from the cities.
