frick that, I will not allow someone to apply that has a criminal record. These people also would fail credit scores and income checks.

So drug dealers can turn the owners properties into crack houses?

Hire a good lawyer then and prepare to pay a ton of costs.

Or you can take the criminals.

Your choice.

Sure sounds like a constructive taking.

It'd be a shame if these landlords countersue.

You can always just go ahead and write a check for your reparations.

I know they have Deputy AG's, but there is so much that needs to be addressed by the DOJ that Trump needs to name 4 AGs and give them each specific legal responsibilities.

Serious questions - Trump has a conviction, would you rent to him?

Where do you expect people to find housing if they spent time in jail, or had personal bankruptcy, etc?

All landlords have to do is raise the income requirement threahold. Because criminals would not be able to get most jobs that well you can still exclude them, just not knowingly.

This is how your property sits vacant for a long time.

That's reasonable, if you give someone a chance to prove they got railroaded.

I’m on my local P&Z commission. The federal government is going to be strong arming local governments on the housing affordability. They want more multi family in rural communities. We are preparing for it now by tightening our zoning codes.
Funny thing is they won’t touch blue areas where the affordability issues are the worst. Going after conservative places.

I'd pay extra to a landlord who fought this.

Would you want a convicted child rapist living next door to a family with 3 young girls? Because we all know this isn't about billionaires with white collar crimes moving into an apartment complex.
