Florida’s well oiled operation during this hurricane season demonstrates this. Even Biden has praised his leadership recently. If he can run a better campaign and find a winning platform in 2028, he could be elected President.

He is but America cares more about personality than it does competency. Ron would be a great president.

This is a feature of democracy. We get the leaders we deserve, but not necessarily the ones we need.

Democracies almost always select for poor leaders. It's a structural flaw.

He's my governor.

I posted something similar on Facebook today and the libtards went nuts.

However, the folks who live in Florida had nothing but likes, loves, and cares.

What's the criticism of his platform? (Just curious)

He has to be one of the best in history. His success and leadership has taken Florida from a purple swing state to a lock red state.

Trump is +13 there in the new NYT poll.

Nothing wrong with his platform. He’s a one of the best governors in the national, probably the best.

But, he wasn’t very good at getting his point across and didn’t really go on the offensive during the debates. He was great during the 22 governor debates.

It’s nice to have a set up of Vance and Desantis going forward in 28 and further out. Just hoping the good guys win in 24 and we don’t have another pissing match between Vance and Desantis supporters again in 28.

He's up there, but I like ours too. She kicked China's arse out of the state. She's pissed off Kamala Harris. She's Ultra Maga and has done what she promised...Oh and has cut our state income tax. We're down to 4.4% from 7.9%. Hope she never has to deal with a hurricane, but we're ready with a redneck army for anything else.

DeSantis is number 1 though. Trial by fire. He's a great governor and has really done a great job in Florida. I haven't been a big DeSantis fan, but he is earning my respect and support.

If Desantis was the GOP candidate, the left would be screeching about how he’s also fascist racist Hitler etc. They’re going to treat every GOP candidate the exact same way from here on out.

I'll be honest. I was in Key West vacationing when he ran the first time and he's ad on television was terrible. He 100% owes his first term to Trump. He came across as an awkward douchebag and still kinda does, BUT he has performed. I've never been anti-DeSantis, but I've not been all in until here recently. He keeps this up and Vance is going to have a hard time holding him off for 2028. I think he's a great governor of a very important state and would like to see him stay there. Any term limits in Florida?

this is all you have left...it's the whole thing holding the democrat party together.

Is that strange that THAT is the tie that binds?

We should thank DJT for pulling him across the finish line vs Gilliam.

Gilliam already had the new curtains picked out at the governors mansion.

Luckily for everyone Trump saw what few others did and united Floridians around Rob. #45#47

Him and Vance vying for the Presidency will be a good problem to have. I think Vance has more potential, but Ron is more proven. Time will tell.

Will hate when he’s not my Gov anymore.

Yes. He's done in early '27. Why he should have waited. The timing to focus 100% on the primary was baked in. He let himself get suckered into it. It's in Vance's hands now. If the go balls to the wall during this term if they get in desantis will need to accept that he's the VP for 8yrs. He's still young and if done right Vance and him can really make the VP position is one that actually does some good work by making sure the presidents vision is put in place. Which can really start while Vance is VP.
