Played it Sunday. It’s in really good shape. Stay below the hole, greens are fast. Price has gone up too btw.

Hell has it.. When we want to change it up and think about playing Carter we now consider driving and extra 15-20 minutes to TPC because the prices are getting awfully close

Honest question….

If the place is always primo, shouldn’t the price go up?

Greens are great shape but fairways are dry as a bone. Don't seen to be watering them

That’s very true. I had drives roll so far it got me in trouble on 2, 9, and 13. Cost me a few strokes.

If you're getting from Madisonville to TPC in 15-20 minutes you're in a helicopter so a price increase at Carters should be the least of your concerns.

I'm a member there. Really good greens, very fast. Playing Friday around 12. And ironically, I live in Mandeville.

i hate 9. lol if i'm having a good round by my standards, i'm automatically doubling that hole. when my round is already in the shitter, I'll par it.

was standing on the tee box sitting on a 36 with my lowest 9 ever being a 41....just par this bitch for my new low 9............DOUBLED

it used to be $60-70 bucks to play which is fair for it's location... it was $95 a couple weeks ago.. That's getting a bit much and that's why I really consider TPC b/c its $110.. I feel like a course has to hit a certain threshold before charging that much and Carter while one of the nicest public courses around still in my opinion of course is on that same footing as TPC to be that close in price

I live in Prairieville and literally the only way there is to take 42 all the way to Springfield which takes 45-50 minutes.. TPC I just jump straight on 10 and I'm there in and hour an 10

The greens or in general?

The greens at Carter are faster and have more undulation, whereas BC have a directional slope forward or back etc.

Beau Chenes Oak course is the narrower of the 2, less forgiving, but it’s the one they’re putting work into and looking good. The Magnolia course, they are fighting some greens right now and shrinking them. Or at least they were last time I played. But both good courses.

I played Tchefuncte for the first time a few weeks back. I liked the course.

The four ball was great. Unfortunately, the greens keeper confused the 4ball with greens keeper revenge tourney.

Saturday was stupid in a way coukd not believe

Tucked pins or in the middle of slopes where balls would back up or couldn't stop?
