We saw him in the late 90's at an outdoor amphitheater in Mesa, AZ. Very impressive show. Julia Roberts came out to announce her husband!

I'm curious if they're setting up tables at Tips which they've done in the past for shows like this (previous ownership), or if it's gonna be the usual first ones to the rail get the prime spot. We'll get there in time for the doors to open either way.

I saw him at Red Rocks so many times and other venues in Colorado . One time I saw him at a radio executive event at The Fox Theatre in Boulder and he played a full set with The Large Band in front of a closed event of about 100 of us. Paula Cole played a set too, before the release of her first album. Crazy to think about.

Great show. A nice mix of hits and deep cuts. He engages with the audience in that same intelligent, gracious and witty manner that his fans love. I will tell you that his vocal cords aren’t quite right, he drinks tea during the set and his voice wavers a lot. So while not peak Lyle it’s still a fantastic show. The sheer talent of the entire band is as impressive as ever.
The lyrics to The Mocking Ones . *sad

2:40 of music! That was a monster set, and it was a real treat to see him in a smallish venue. I was about 20 feet away from him. Got to meet Leland and Lamonte after the show. Leland has been a bass hero of mine forever, and he's a very nice chap.

Wow, that’s awesome. Seeing Lyle and his large band is a bit like receiving a master class. What a treat.
